Handled my father's and mothers funerals one a cremation and the latest was a burial for mum, with a few complications with my family grave. John helped me throughout and was clear about costs, with no hidden charges or corporate business practices. A much nicer experiment from going into those sorts of places. It's a real shame these family run established places are becoming rarer due to retirements and corporate businesses trying to take over funeral directing.

H Cook & son have been our family funeral directors for many many years and have never let us down. We recently had to say good bye to our dad and John took care of al the arrangements, he discussed everything with myself and my two sisters and nothing was left to chance. Honestly don’t know where to start. We very sadly lost dad at Christmas and these guys were just amazing! Experienced compassionate caring and all that goes with it! Just a lovely family looking after families at their worst time. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was carried out with so much grace! They are not a corporate business and very much have the personal touch. We can’t thank you enough for making such a difficult time all that much easier!
