From the moment we met Kate and visited her chapel we knew it’s what we wanted. Our mum didnt want a funeral. She wanted a celebration of life and that’s what she got.
The chapel is a beautiful building with a homey and welcome feel and so much history and character and Kate allowed us to visit multiple times and let us add our own decoration and snacks to make it more personal. She was ready to share ideas and help us set up.
As a family we feel Kate went above and beyond. Not only did she look after mum but we felt she looked after us too. She answered every single question (and panic!) si

Kate is very well organised and full of great ideas, especially if you're not sure. Listen to her and she still guide you through the whole process. Isobel is fantastic too, they both made the whole process so much easier for me, organising my wife's funeral. I cannot fault them. If i could give six out of five stars, I would.

We attended the service of a deeply loved family member who was tragically and unexpectedly taken away from us all.
We all dread days like this however the service was absolutely beautiful from start to finish, Kate spoke beautifully about our Stewy to all his family, friends and even by video link for family to view in Australia. She made eye contact with loved ones and referred to their name through the service, Kate's attention to detail was so touching. Both Kate and the chapel are absolute gems. My mother-in-law didn't like the crematorium, so when she passed The Old Chapel was the perfect venue to hold her funeral. We were able to make the funeral bespoke, personal and unrushed. Kate was so supportive and helpful, we were never made to feel just a number to her. We were able to give my Mother-in-law a most beautiful send-off. I really recommend Kate and The Old Chapel's services to everyone.
