Susan took care of my father when he passed away in February 2007, and my mother when she passed away in November 2025. I cannot praise Susan and her staff highly enough; nothing was too much trouble, everything went beautifully, and they all showed the utmost compassion, kindness and respect (special thanks to Cathy for being so patient with us while we were dithering over some of the arrangements!). I want to say a MASSIVE thank you to Mandy and the drivers we had on the day of our Nans funeral.
Mandy went above and beyond to ensure our Nan had a great send off, even walking her through the town so others not attending could say their good byes.
The team wore yellow ties as it was Nans favourite colour and we was all in bright colours for the funeral, it was such a lovely touch from them. The driver that took the grandchildren listened to our memories of Nan and smiled along with the funny stories which was lovely, it felt personal and caring to us and everyone felt very relaxed with hi

Our family have used Susan Whymark twice, once in 2010 when Dad passed away and now in 2024 when Mum passed.
Each time they have been both personally caring and totally professional, even down to small touches like having an ample supply of umbrellas ready for a rainy committal. As an independent company they also fit with our preference to use local businesses.
Heaven forbid we should need them again too soon, but we won’t hesitate when the time comes.
