My husband had been given a terminal diagnosis and decided to arrange his own funeral.
From the first meeting with Sam she handled us with such care and compassion that she helped make a terrible time easier.
She explained everything about what would happen and helped us with our decisions , guiding us to the best choices.
Her aftercare of my husband in the Chapel of Rest was so respectful and dignified. I could visit him any time, any day.
And her aftercare of me is ongoing.
I have to say that all of the ladies at Farthings are exceptional, caring women.

Our family was extremely grateful and touched by the kindness shown during this difficult time, Sam was so compassionate and caring. The small touches like the hearts crocheted to give to your passed loved one and one for yourself was a beautiful idea, and Sam who was so tentative made this difficult journey of visiting your loved one very comforting. Thank you Sam. Sabrina xx

I dont even know where to begin with this review, I lost my Dad 10 months ago, I got in touch with Sam at Farthings. She has been amazing , she helped us every step of the way. Supported us and even now I am still getting support from her. We have a monthly meet up at a local cafe where we all get together and have made friends with a lot of people all going through the same thing. Im so glad We(my brothers and I) chose Farthing Funeral Services. we was treated with respect and care through out

Sam was a perfect mix of compassion, empathy and efficiency. I felt comfortable with her and able to ask any questions I needed to and nothing was too much trouble for her. I can speak for all the family in saying that the service she gave us could not have been better and the farewell for James was exactly as we wished it. Thanks Sam.
