My Dad went into their care when he passed away recently. They were incredible. Alan Jones arranged a lovely final drive to the funeral past all Dad’s life moments. The house he was born in etc..Viewing Dad in their chapel of rest bought me comfort and they had made him look beautiful, I was so anxious to go see Dad there but they were amazing. Last year we found ourselves in the most unfortunate and distressing situation when my late Mum passed away whilst on holiday in Australia. From my initial call to Alex, to the repatriation of her body back to the UK she took care of all the paperwork, taking all the stress out of the process. Furthermore she made all the funeral arrangements with such care and compassion. I can't thank Simon and his team enough for everything he did to make my Mum's funeral service perfect. Everything went seamlessly and the whole day was beautiful. This company were dealing with the arrangements for my aunts funeral. I arrived early at 09.00am to deliver my floral tribute, in fact we saw the arranger open the door.
I asked if my aunt was viewable and the arranger said no, which I accept as mother nature can be very cruel. I asked if the coffin was sealed and she said 'no' so I asked her to place a card into the coffin for me.
As we left I said to my daughter lets do a closed coffin viewing, I really wanted a moment to say a proper goodbye. We went back and enquired and she said 'no' which seems to be her favourite word.
