If you want your loved one to be treated with respect, this is not the place. We asked them to apply a little perfume to my mother before cremation because she was very elegant, and we thought it was a nice gesture. However, we specifically requested that they return the perfume afterward. Instead, they left the perfume inside the coffin, claiming it was a mistake.
For my sister and me, it was already heartbreaking to say goodbye and know our mother’s body would turn to ashes. The idea of a glass perfume bottle in the coffin, potentially causing harm to her body, went completely against our b
