The funerals of both my father (8 years ago) and my mother (1 year ago) were both put in the very capable hands of K & T Sheilds. Both coffins were in the family home and it was explained to us about keeping the rooms cool. Trevor regularly came and checked the open coffins to advise us when to close them prior to the funeral, on no occasion were there any issues. I would highly recommend the family run business to anyone they looked after my sister in laws husband and the service they provided was second to none. Then in 2011 my daughter lost her son at 23 days old passed on 27 december and Trevor came down to durham to sort things out for us.

Dodgy chancers do not use. Read other reviews, we are not the only family to be ripped off by ‘the don’ in their time of grief. Extra charges, unexpected bills, fraud call it what you like.
