I was at a conference in Holy Trinity Church. It is full of history, a beautiful old church with fabulous windows, organ, chapel and tombs. William Shakespeare is buried here, near where the front alter. A place of peace.

Lovely church to visit. This is the church where William a Shakespeare was baptised, attended and was buried. The volunteers are very friendly if you have any questions.

Shakespeare’s Funerary Monument is a fascinating and beautifully preserved tribute to one of the greatest writers in history. Located inside Holy Trinity Church in Stratford-upon-Avon, the monument offers a touching and timeless connection to William Shakespeare himself. The craftsmanship is remarkable — from the lifelike bust to the elegant inscriptions, every detail reflects reverence and admiration for the Bard’s genius. Standing before it feels like stepping back in time, offering a sense of awe and reflection on his immense contribution to literature and culture. It’s a must-see for anyon

Shakespeare's tomb stone is definitely worth seeing. Very informative and interesting. A must really when visiting Stratford Apon Avon.

It’s a beautiful place but should not have a mandatory £5 fee to go to the end of the church to see the last resting place of Shakespeare.
