When my lovely mum recently passed away at the wonderful age of 103, the funeral plan she had taken out with Dignity (previously Age UK) many years ago was a great help to me, and Rathbones, as the nominated Funeral Director, were excellent from start to finish. Tracy was so helpful and efficient with the admin, Louise was wonderful on my visit to the Chapel of Rest, and on the day of the funeral Martin and his colleagues were amazing - quietly guiding me and ensuring everything was perfect. Having had the most terrible, disrespectful and undignified, experience with a different and unrelated local (and part of a national organisation who are far from there when you need them most) Funeral Directors, we sought Rathbone’s help to pick up the debacle and bring some dignity and respect back to our loved one’s final journey. What a difference Rathbone’s proved to be! From answering the telephone, calling back as promised, handing all the arrangements and last minutes amendments to the order of service, and their presence on the day to manage everything, was in a completely different
