My dad was sadly taken from me on the 15/10/2025 and I will forever be heartbroken because of this .. he wasn’t just my dad , he was my best friend.. for years he told me what to do, how to plan a funeral, but even though I knew what to do I still felt like I was unsure , i chose wm Dodgson and son and went with it as it was close to my dads home .. I met a woman there by the name of Charlotte. I’d like to thank her for really helping me through this difficult time. I didn’t know how to feel or understand why my dad was taken from me .. I cannot recommend Dodgsons funeral services enough. From the moment of first contact they were just brilliant and made what is a sad and stressful time for the family so much easier. Both Helen and Kirsty at the funeral office were fantastic and went above and beyond to ensure the actual funeral day went off without a hitch. We were listened to and all requests were fulfilled. Even the staff at Lupton avenue looking after my father prior to the funeral were so professional and compassionate and really seemed to care about my father and the family- we all felt he was very well looked after whi

I have no hesitation in recommending this service. I am exceedingly grateful to Mikela for all her help and advice when arranging the funeral for my late mother. All my requests, and concerns, were addressed with diligence and kindness . As a result the whole funeral was just as I wanted it to be.
