My husband and I visited Brocklands before his death in 2019 as he was terminally ill and we were planning his funeral. The site is perfect with views across to the hills that he loved. Ian was happy to know that he would be resting somewhere so beautiful. The autumn after his death we planted an oak tree and it’s thriving. I know my husband is resting well in this beautiful place. When my time comes I have the plot beside him.

Buried the ashes of a family member here in the most peaceful setting with a gorgeous view. A Rowan tree is to be planted this fall. The place provided for the service is not fancy but so well placed. You can see the vista through the long windows. The owner was so kind and respectful and worked well with our wonderful funeral director from Kane Family Funerals. We left feeling so serene and fulfilled.

Brocklands is perfect if you want a natural burial set in the beautiful Dales. The Hay Barn where we held the ceremony, with the fantastic views was all we could have wished for. To the lady who left a review complaining about the place being overgrown - that's the idea! If you want a graveyard tha

Wonderful view and a very peaceful, natural place. In summer there are wild flowers in the field and a choice of trees to plant in Autumn for the graves.

Overgrown thickets have swallowed my parents graves. It took me 45 minutes to find them . Nettles 10 feet high. Brambles growing over the tree. My father’s tree fell down soon after it was planted and not replaced. The brass numbers have been obliterated by a huge overgrowth of weeds.
