Our experience with Pure Cremation has been incredible from start to finish. When my mum died, I called and the person I spoke to on the phone made things so easy for me. He was helpful, kind and clear. Pure cremation arrived within a few hours which I thought was good given that it was the middle of the night. Once the committal had taken place and it was time for my mum's ashes to be brought home, a lovely lady returned my mum to me.

I had to face the heartbreaking situation of cremating my friend on a budget. I chose Pure Cremation and I’m so glad I did. From the moment I phoned them until tthe moment a kind and helpful guy delivered the ashes to me Pure Cremation kept me informed and let me talk to them about how I was feeling. On the day my mum passed away, I called Pure Cremation, as she had paid for a ‘funeral plan’ with them. I had assumed this was an insurance-style plan to cover funeral costs. I was shocked to learn, mid call, that not only would there be no funeral for my mum, but that once she was collected she would be transported to the other side of the country, held until she could be taken to one of only two crematoria, and that we would be informed of the date of her cremation but not allowed to attend. This left us devastated as family.

Their responses have been full of incorrect facts and are a great work of fiction, they did not check for deaths, if they did they would have spotted the deceased person they mailed who passed months before. They responded initially saying I needed to contact their supplier of their mailing lists, which is legally incorrect. They did not undertake any legal responsibility until I sent them a formalised letter, pointing out the issues. They attempted to shift the burden to me and my family for their incompetence and have still not apologised or said how they will prevent this happeni
