What people say

★★★★★
At the most difficult of times, Paula and Alexandra were fantastic and supportive. They took away the burden of arranging Mum's celebration of life and delivered everything flawlessly. They connected us with a fantastic celebrant, Teri Stout, who really got who Mum was and how we wanted to honour her. The fact that Winchcombe & Sons is a family business really shone through, they really care and operate with the ethos of what they would want if it was their own loved one that they were caring for. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I will be forever grateful to Allie, Paula and the rest of the team at C S Winchcombe & Sons for helping us navigate the challenges of planning my father's funeral. They are totally professional, caring and made absolutely sure there was zero additional stress on the day. They delivered us the calm, respectful and beautiful farewell that our father deserved and we all hoped for.

We recently used the services of this wonderful, long-established, family-run company after the tragically early death of our beautiful daughter, Helen. Alexandra came to Dorothy House Hospice in Winsley at Helen's request and Helen was able to choose exactly how she wanted her Cremation Service to be. Alex handled this very sensitively as it is unusual for the dying person to wish to do this themselves, but she did say to me afterwards that she wished that more people would choose to do so - because it saves so much heartache later for relatives who are not quite sure what their deceased lo

At the worst possible time, it was nice to know that our father was being looked after with the dignity and respect that he deserved. Paula, Allie, and the rest of the family are highly recommended when you are unfortunate enough to require the services of a well established funeral director. Thank you all for everything you have done.
★★★★★
My husband and I cannot praise this company enough. They guided us sympathetically throughout the process with something we have never had to deal with before. Nothing was too much trouble and even the Order of Service Programmes were printed with such care, assisting us with the layout and photographs. Thank you to this wonderfully run family business for your care and professionalism.
