I didn't even know where to start when my dad passed, after seeing AJ Lock advertised near where I lived I figured they are as good a choice as any, I was right! Tony and Annette were fantastic, from a lovely phone call the day after dads passing letting me know they have him with them safe and resting, to every little detail of planning the funeral, nothing ever seemed too much trouble. They really looked after dad and got him ready for visits in the chapel and ready for his last journey. Nothing was ever rushed, they appreciated that every decision had to be right and were very accommodating

We were heartbroken at the loss of my mother and didn't know which way to turn. Tony and Annette guided us every step of the way. They were so very kind, so very caring and so very compassionate. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble. We visited mum prior to her funeral and she looked so peaceful , in a cosy room, as if asleep in bed . So comforting. We wanted a specific casket and Tony drove miles out of his way to collect it. Tony and Annette made very helpful suggestions for the service and as a result we feel we did our mum proud. They truly are the caring funerals service. My son's funeral was conducted with genuine empathy and professionalism. Tony and Annette took care of every last detail. Tony, the drivers and the vehicles were immaculately turned out. Tony went the extra mile in every way. I loved the way that he led the hearse on foot along Locking Road. It showed real respect and care for my son. Everything I asked for was done, and done exceptionally well. I love the way that all the lost loved ones are remembered by their individual plaque on the Memorial wall in their office.

Tony and the whole team at AJ Lock were superb when we said goodbye to our Dad. Tony met us with a limitless supply of kindness and flexibility and suggested personal touches which made it even more special. To top it off the price was really competitive . The funeral service was the perfect goodbye, we felt looked after by Tony and his team throughout the service and all throughout all of the planning and lead up to it. I really cannot thank Tony and Annette enough for the service they provided for my dad's funeral. Everything was handled faultlessly from start to finish. Tony led me compassionately through every step of the process. Nothing was to much trouble, and the gentle reminders of things that needed doing were very welcome at a point when my head was all over the place. They were always available and used their expertise to guide and support me. They are also very fairly priced and don't take advantage at a difficult time.
