I can’t thank Elaine at Phillip Ford and. son enough for arranging and carrying out my mums funeral . From start to finish we were treated with kindness and compassion and even a smile and bit of humour when appropriate.
We never felt hurried or pressurised into makings decisions moreover we were supported and guided to choose things that reflected mum and her life.
The whole day was everything we hoped it would be and we had so many compliments about it. We also believe that mum would have loved it.

Very efficient , very smooth organisations . Very corporate . Felt lacking in compassion and commercially driven . It came as a shock to be chased for almost full payment before our dear mother was laid to rest . This was something our bank had not experienced before . Whilst arrangements worked brilliantly and individual staff were professional- I could not recommend if you are looking for a a more caring company happy to wait for payment chasing until after the funeral has taken place . This had certainly been our experience with other companies - unless they too have changed .
