I couldn't have asked for a better service. The compassion showed to myself and daughter on the evening my husband died was amazing. We were treated with the utmost respect. James and his team even spoke to my husband as the were dealing with his body which gave me great confidence that every care would be taken with him. The funeral itself was all my husband had wanted. Excellent service from this company. When my mum died in the early hours of the morning James was at the care home within an hour and he treated her, my husband and I with dignity, respect and compassion.
Communication was excellent and nothing was too much trouble, his advice was invaluable and the actual service last Friday at the crematorium was really beautiful. The Orchard is a beautiful natural burial place where my husband’s ashes were buried last year. We have recently had our family’s pet’s ashes buried beside him.
It’s so lovely and peaceful here, a much nicer environment than a traditional cemetery, and it’s at its best at the moment with all the spring blossom on the trees and the birds singing. Gorgeous.
James and Paul were a great support with all the funeral arrangements. They are both very approachable and helpful and they make a very stressful and upsetting time more bearable.

My daughter was laid to rest here over 11 years ago. I have my spot already near to her for whenever my time comes. A decision I made to be close to her. I love the peacefulness of The Orchard. There is nothing depressing about the place at all. I love that beloved pets can be laid to rest there. My daughter would have loved that, being a great animal lover. Being laid amongst trees brings comfort, being close to nature. From what I can remember, Paul led a lovely eulogy before family took over, all at the burial site.
