This was my first visit to The Old Bull & Bush, which is situated a stones throw from Hampstead Heath, and it was worth the time and effort. Another great gastropub located in a beautiful spot that was busy with a delightfully vibrant atmosphere. I was seated by the exquisite log fire which meant I was warm and toasty whilst eating. Jade was my server and made me feel welcome and appreciated which enhanced my dining experience. On arrival, I was warmly greeted by attentive staff and promptly shown to my table by the open log fire. The table service was prompt and the server Jade polite and ef

Classy Gastro pub in Golders Green. The Halibut and Sea-brass were cooked to perfection and delicious and also great value with 50% off mains special offer! Staff were pleasant and service was good despite the pub being very busy. Toilets were clean and beautifully fitted out.

Have been before and the food has definitely improved. Went for lunch and the dining room was quiet when we arrived but got busier and busier. Our waitress was very attentive and patient, she could have done with a hand as the tables filled. Yummy Bloody Mary. Good starters and mains. Sweet treat with the coffee was a nice touch.

It is a pleasant pub with a warm, inviting interior and a great atmosphere. The staff are friendly and helpful, which makes the visit even better. The food is okay, nothing exceptional, but good selection of alcohol drinks enjoyable enough. One thing I particularly appreciate is the car park, which makes getting there very convenient. And their cider is definitely a highlight! Overall, a solid local pub that’s comfortable, welcoming.

The Old Bull & Bush is an iconic Hampstead pub, but sadly the food doesn’t quite live up to the reputation, especially for the price. I had the ribeye steak at £37, and for that cost I expected something special. Unfortunately, the quality and flavour felt closer to a £10 steak, and the peppercorn sauce was disappointingly bland. Service was mixed. The bartender was attentive and friendly, but the table service felt rushed and inattentive , food was dropped off without any check-in or even asking if we wanted sauces. For Hampstead, and at these prices, that feels well below par. Overall, a d
