Big line to wait outside, even if you appointment. The security guys are rude, they don’t have anything to do with embassy operations. No phone contact with embassy. Online appointments are limited. Overall, bad experience. The govt should do something to provide better service to its citizens.

never ever beating the racist allegations, i have visited countless times throughout the years and the staff that actually renews the passport is extremely harsh, disrespectful and evidently racist. the woman at the desk with the straight black hair and red nails kept switching to portuguese to speak poorly about my family and i as if we did not understand her. retrain your staff as soon as possible please because the world has evolved and clearly your staff has not.. if i could rate this a 0, I truly would 🙏

Worst experience in the world. I just can’t get my passport renew. I have been trying for months, I checked hundreds of times, I believe at this point ,they just don’t open. Called, emailed and no one cares or are able to give my a concrete day or time where the slots open. The fact I can’t show up and book an appointment or wait there it’s also worring considering people from my family can’t work with computers. I guess they will never have a passport again (because of their disabilities) and have no means to work with technology. They have so many bad reviews I still struggle to understand h

I am a proud Portuguese citizen, but I must express my profound disappointment with the services provided by the Portuguese Government to its citizens and their families in UK. It is disheartening to see that the government has transferred most visa-related services to VFS Global—a company that, in my experience, has proven to be utterly inefficient and unhelpful.

If you need anything from them just pray, I was pregnant when I first started to contact them. I informed many times and I have not been treated with priority.
Multiple times emails and phone calls endless waiting, rude and unhelpful staff. They make it absolutely impossible to put a time on the calendar, however they only answer is: you need to book a time on the calendar.
My baby has been born and now we're fighting to get his registration and my renovation and still nothing.
