Oak from the first moment after my husbands death at home showed both him and our family the utmost respect and dignity. The funeral arrangements with Orlando were conducted with genuine warmth and empathy and he took his time to really understand the man we all love. I cannot thank the team at Oak Funeral Services enough for their professionalism and kindness in dealing with my dads funeral. Julie in particular was amazing from start to finish. Extremely thorough and her attention to detail was excellent. She made my mum and myself feel very at ease during what was a very stressful and upsetting time. The care that was given to my dad was absolutely first class, which was extremely comforting to know that he was being so well looked after. From start to finish Mark and the team have been fantastic at communicating, asking for our families thoughts and wishes etc. We opted for a direct cremation, which was our late Mum's wishes and even though there was no service as such, Oak Funeral personalised the cremation with a flower of our choice which was placed on our Mum's coffin and a song that she would have liked to be played as the coffin was brought into the crematorium. They took care of our beloved Mum with such respect and dignity and Julie was fantastic and preparing us before seeing our Mum in the Chapel of rest.
