Another very lovely guild. The stationers guild was set up by WH Smith, who features prominently int he artwork of the building. The current King is a member, as was former Prime Minister Harold McMillan. The livery hall is very large and boasts some stunning stained glass windows featuring major figures in the history of printing and writing, such as Shakespeare, Caxton, St Cecilia, William Tyndall and Archbishop Cranmer. Additionally, the court room contains gilded ceilings and paintings. There is also a bust of former royal member Edward VIII, one of the few busts or portraits of the abdi

Interesting to know about binding etc... The garden was peaceful and had a continental feel about it. The adjoining church was good to visit.

Lovely venue in old guild building There is a garden which is lovely for a summer cocktail party. Inside I attended a large cocktail party and an intimate dinner off the main hall, so the venue is versatile. Good service and food.

We got married at Stationer’s Hall just over a week ago now and it was incredible! The venue looked amazing, the courtyard was beautiful and Hayley was great to coordinate with. Would 100% recommend.

An extremely well presented venue steeped in very important, relevant history of the communications industry. Very friendly staff. Great city location.
